This is one post that was in my drafts for way too long and I guess it had to be posted.. a little old yet still relevant.

Each phase of life brings along its own highs and lows…its upto us to face the lows gracefully and enjoy and cherish the highs…

Childhood: friends/ play/ sand/ water/ getting dirty

Pre-teen: staying up late / late night chats / TV / play

Teens: first crush / first beer / sleepovers with friends / taking a shot at driving

Late teens: raging hormones/ hyper enthusiasm/ thrill of trying new things/ falling in love

Early twenties: excitement of first job/ the feel of being the most eligible ‘single’ in town/ steady relationship

Late twenties/ early thirties: true love/ happy marriage/ babies/ travels / climbing the corporate latter/ working on one’s own

Late thirties: Stable work / steady income/ family/ watching kids grow up beautifully.

Its fun as well as challenging to cross each phase of life… to keep moving from a decade to another.
As I wait for my fourth decade and look back at the 3 gone, I don’t think I would like to change any part of it.

Life’s perfect just the way it pans out to be:)

Living room- wall decor

Of late I’ve been inspired by blogs on home décor/crafts etc and have been really enjoying reading and seeing what people have been posting. Heres something I did last weekend and these blogs have inspired me to post my stuff too. Hope it interests at least some people!! I had a few of my paintings lying in my house..never bothered to get them framed.. Got them framed finally last week and now they are up on our walls. Feels nice to show off some of my own work (talk of modesty!) Have put these up on our living room walls..just near the entrance.. Heres a closer look.. happy anniversary

We celebrated our 4th anniversary yesterday :) To some it may seem a very short time together and to some it may seem a long long time..all I can say is that I really don’t know where the years went.. We had a few ups and downs (like every family I guess!) but the ride was quite enjoyable.. Had read this a lot of times earlier and came across this again today while surfing...this time it goes for my husband (without sounding mushy!) " He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to quote poetry. He’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break.
