Looking back...it’s not been long since we first thought of getting into kids home décor and now we are almost ready to roll !! We gave ourselves a deadline of 11th Nov’11 as it is our son’s first birthday (and therefore the most auspicious day of the year for us). And as with everyone else…we realized that we work best with deadlines!  It was quite an ambitious planning… getting the website ready, product concept to designing to getting them made, integration with payment gateway, facebook, twitter et al… everything had to be done in just about 3 months. Phew!!  All of it is finally over and we are ready to start our website with our first collection of bedroom furnishings and some cool stuff for infants. This post has been pending for a long long time.. had read a wishlist on someone’s blog sometime back (I’ve even forgotten the blog author’s name and I’m feeling really sorry for that ).I've had this wishlist from a long time..but it never got completed! Posting it anyway…so here it goes… 1) I(actually it should be ‘we’..hubby included) have been wanting to do something on my(our) own for a while now. The entrepreneurship bug has bitten me(us) long back..but being the perfect procrastinator(yep, both of us!) nothing much happened. However, right now it looks like things are shaping up as we would want them to…so hopefully I’ll be able to strike this point off from my list soon…. But it remains here right now! 2) Travel in India - Make a trip to Kerala…its backwaters, houseboat, lush green environment…everything is so fascinating…God’s own country indeed! - Andaman… had been there long back with parents and siblings...longing to go again and enjoy the beauty. - Agra...h...

We celebrated our 4th anniversary yesterday :) To some it may seem a very short time together and to some it may seem a long long time..all I can say is that I really don’t know where the years went.. We had a few ups and downs (like every family I guess!) but the ride was quite enjoyable.. Had read this a lot of times earlier and came across this again today while surfing...this time it goes for my husband (without sounding mushy!) " He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. Of late I’ve been inspired by blogs on home décor/crafts etc and have been really enjoying reading and seeing what people have been posting. Heres something I did last weekend and these blogs have inspired me to post my stuff too. Hope it interests at least some people!! I had a few of my paintings lying in my house..never bothered to get them framed.. Got them framed finally last week and now they are up on our walls. Feels nice to show off some of my own work (talk of modesty!) Have put these up on our living room walls..just near the entrance.. Heres a closer look..
